Apply for EWSETA Internships 2026 – Multiple Fields Available

Energy and Water Sector Education and Training Authority (EWSETA) invites interested and suitably qualified young people to apply for its 24-month Internship Programme. EWSETA is a statutory body established through the Skills Development Act of 1998 to support skills advancement within the energy and water sectors across large, medium, small levy-paying and non-levy-paying organisations. The internship programme forms part of the organisation’s commitment to promoting employment equity and broad-based black economic empowerment through structured skills development opportunities.

The programme provides workplace exposure to University graduates, University of Technology students, and TVET College students who have completed an N6 qualification. Preference will be given to candidates who require in-service training to complete their qualifications. Successful applicants will be placed across various functional departments to support operations through research assistance, administration, monitoring and evaluation activities, ICT support, marketing assistance, and governance-related responsibilities.

The internship duration is 24 months, and placements are aligned with EWSETA’s Talent Development Policy and transformation objectives within the energy and water sectors.
