Department of Roads and Transport: Internship Programme

Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport invites suitably qualified and unemployed South African graduates to apply for the Policy, Legislation, Research and Knowledge Management Internship Programme for the 2025–2027 period. This 24-month opportunity is based at the Head Office in Johannesburg and offers a monthly stipend of R7 860.50. The internship is open to candidates with an ND or Degree in Library and Knowledge Management, Public Management/Governance, or Information Science who have not previously participated in any internship programme. Successful applicants will be expected to complete all tasks assigned in relation to the post.

All shortlisted candidates, including the SMS, shall undertake two pre-entry assessments. One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment.
