Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide learners with the opportunity to enroll for a National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging (NQF Level 3). Successful candidates will be employed on a one-year fixed-term contract, which includes structured on-the-job and off-the-job training, leading to a nationally recognised qualification.

Key Outputs and Responsibilities

Learnership Characteristics:

  • Leads to a nationally recognised qualification registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF)
  • Based on SAQA-registered unit standards
  • Unit standards focus on value-adding workplace skills, outcomes, and assessment criteria
  • Competence assessed in the workplace using multiple assessment methods and defined performance standards
Profile
  • Minimum Matric with Mathematics and English
  • Technical qualifications (N3, N4, N5 or N6) will be an added advantage
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to interact and work effectively within a team environment
