The East London Industrial Development Zone SOC Ltd invites suitably qualified and unemployed South African graduates to apply for an exciting internship opportunity aimed at providing practical workplace exposure for a period of up to 24 months. This programme is designed to equip participants with hands-on experience, professional skills, and industry knowledge across various fields, supporting career development while contributing to regional economic growth.

The internship programme is open to candidates who have completed relevant M+3 qualifications and meet the stipulated requirements, including being between the ages of 18 and 35 and not currently studying full-time. Preference will be given to applicants from the Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality, academically strong candidates, and persons with disabilities. Successful interns will gain valuable exposure within a structured environment that enhances employability and prepares participants for future career opportunities.

The East London Industrial Development Zone SOC Ltd is a State-Owned Corporation set up by government through the South African Industrial Development Zones Programme (now the South African Special Economic Zones Programme) to develop, operate and maintain modern infrastructure and to complementarily attract strategic investments for the region.

The East London IDZ is looking for interns to be exposed in the following fields for a period of up to 24 months, subject to the conditions of the internship agreement to be signed after appointment.
