NHBRC: Internship Programme 2026

The National Home Builders Registration Council (NHBRC) invites unemployed graduates between the ages of 18 and 35 to apply for an 18-month Internship Programme based in the Western Cape and Limpopo. This opportunity is aimed at young graduates who are seeking practical workplace experience and have not previously participated in any Public Service internship programme within a government department. Preference will be given to applicants who reside in the Western Cape.
The internship programme offers exposure across several fields, including Legal and Compliance Services, Administration, Engineering and Inspection Services, and the Built Environment. Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend for the duration of the programme, and the NHBRC remains committed to promoting equal employment opportunities, including the inclusion of persons with disabilities and individuals from historically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Preference will be given to candidates residing in the Western Cape, and only applicants who have never participated in any Public Service internship programme in a government department will be considered.

- Qualification: National Diploma or Degree in:
- Office Management or related field
- Public Administration
- Business Administration
- Marketing
- Location: Western Cape
3. Engineering & Inspection Services
- Qualification: National Diploma or Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Location: Limpopo
4. Built Environment
- Qualification: National Diploma or Degree in the Built Environment
- Location: Limpopo
Stipend and Employment Equity
