NCC: Internship Programme 2026 – Apply Now

The National Consumer Commission (NCC) invites applications from South African unemployed youth graduates who are seeking meaningful workplace experience through a structured and professionally guided internship programme. This opportunity is aimed at empowering young graduates by exposing them to a real working environment where practical skills, industry knowledge, and professional conduct are developed. The internship programme is designed to bridge the gap between academic qualifications and employment by allowing participants to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting, while gaining hands-on experience within a key national regulatory institution. Graduates accepted into the programme will benefit from mentorship, skills transfer, and exposure to core operational functions that support consumer protection and regulatory enforcement in South Africa.

This internship opportunity is open to graduates between the ages of 18 and 35 who have not previously participated in any internship programme in either the public or private sector. It specifically targets unemployed youth who are eager to enhance their employability and gain valuable experience that can improve future career prospects. The programme offers a fixed-term placement that enables participants to build professional confidence, strengthen their resumes, and develop workplace competencies required in today’s competitive job market. Through structured learning and on-the-job training, the internship supports youth development while contributing to national efforts aimed at reducing graduate unemployment and promoting skills development across various professional fields.
