York Timbers invites unemployed graduates to apply for the 2025/2026 Internship Experience Programme, a structured 12-month workplace programme aimed at providing practical, hands-on experience across various disciplines within the forestry and related sectors. The programme is designed to bridge the gap between academic studies and the world of work by exposing participants to real working environments, professional mentorship, and industry-relevant skills that enhance long-term employability.

This internship opportunity is open to South African citizens between the ages of 18 and 35 who have completed a relevant Diploma or Degree and are currently unemployed. Successful candidates will gain valuable workplace exposure while contributing meaningfully to operational and administrative functions within York Timbers. Preference will be given to applicants in line with Employment Equity requirements, and only complete applications submitted before the closing date will be considered.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must:

  • Be unemployed
  • Be willing to commit to a 12-month workplace programme
  • Have completed a Diploma or Degree in a relevant field
  • Be a South African citizen
  • Be between 18 and 35 years old
