Bidfood South Africa invites unemployed youth to apply for the Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme, a valuable opportunity designed to help young South Africans gain practical work experience in the food service industry. This programme is ideal for motivated individuals who are eager to start their careers, develop workplace skills, and grow within a professional Wholesale and Retail environment.

Successful candidates will be placed on a 12-month fixed-term programme that offers hands-on learning, exposure to different departments, and insight into various career pathways within the foodservice sector. Participants will benefit from structured professional development, coaching, and mentoring aimed at building confidence, discipline, and long-term employability.

The YES Programme is open to South African citizens between the ages of 18 and 35 who are currently unemployed, not full-time students, and have not previously participated in the YES initiative. Applicants must hold a Matric certificate, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and be willing to commit to the full 12-month programme based in Bloemfontein, South Africa.
