Apply for the DEL 24-Month Graduate Internship

The Department of Employment and Labour invites qualifying unemployed South African graduates to apply for the 24-month Graduate Internship Programme. Applicants must be South African citizens who have never participated in any internship programme before. Priority consideration will be given to youth, persons living with disabilities, and candidates from previously disadvantaged backgrounds, in line with the Department’s Employment Equity Plan. All shortlisted applicants will undergo verification, pre-screening, and a practical assessment based on technical requirements.

Applications must be submitted through the SAYouth.mobi platform by searching Project 20K. Closing date for walk-ins is 05 December 2025 at 16:00, and 23:59 for online applications. Applicants are required to complete the new Z83 form and attach an updated CV. Shortlisted candidates will be expected to provide certified copies of qualifications, academic transcripts, and their ID. Applicants applying outside their residential area must arrange their own accommodation and transport. If no feedback is received within eight weeks after the closing date, the application should be regarded as unsuccessful.

GRADUATE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME FOR A PERIOD OF 24 MONTHS

INTERN: REMOTE ICT TECHNICIANS

DUTIES: Assist in providing telephonic and remote end-user device support. Install and troubleshoot desktop applications. Provide support on user account requests and issues (create user, unable to logon, etc.). Monitor and update call escalations until the call is resolved. Conduct call management on Information Technology Service Management System (ITSM). Follow up and update troubleshooting activity on active calls.
