The Department of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (DPME) invites unemployed South African graduates and students from Higher Education Institutions to apply for 24-month Internship and In-Service Training opportunities. This programme is open to individuals who have completed their qualifications or who require workplace experience to complete their studies.

1. Corporate Services – Legal Services (Internship)

2. National Planning Coordination Secretariat – Social (Internship)
Position: Internship
Stipend: R7 860.50
Duration: 24 months
Location: Pretoria

3. Sector & Monitoring Services (In-Service Training / Internship)
Position: In-Service Training (N6) / Internship
Stipend: In-Service R6 659.25 / Internship R7 860.50
Duration: 24 months

4. State Owned Enterprises Branch (Internship)
Position: Internship
Stipend: R7 860.50
Duration: 24 months

INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME / IN-SERVICE TRAINING FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR 2026-2028

The Department of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (DPME) is offering opportunities to unemployed South African graduates and students from Higher Education institutions who have completed their degrees or diplomas, or who require on-the-job practical training to complete their qualifications.

Applicants must indicate the field of study they have completed and the correct reference number. The duration of the internship and in-service training (for students from Universities, Universities of Technology, and TVET Colleges) will be 24 months.
