Govan Mbeki Municipality Graduate Programme 2025–2026

Govan Mbeki Municipality invites unemployed graduates to apply for the Graduate Programme aimed at developing a strong pipeline of young professionals across various disciplines, including Finance, Governance, Engineering, Built Environment, and Environmental Management. The programme is designed to strengthen institutional capacity, enhance service delivery, and support long-term skills development within the municipal jurisdiction. Successful applicants will gain practical workplace experience aligned with their academic qualifications while contributing to key municipal functions.
The Municipality invites applicants who have completed a National Diploma, Degree, or Honours qualification and who preferably reside within the Govan Mbeki Municipal area or the Gert Sibande District. A stipend of R8 300.00 per month will be provided for the 12-month duration of the programme. Applications must be submitted using the official application form and must include a comprehensive CV, certified copies of qualifications, a copy of an ID, a statement of results, and a municipal services account.
