The African Rainbow Minerals (ARM) invites current University of Limpopo students who have completed their first, second, or third year to apply for the 2025 ARM Bursary Opportunity. This comprehensive bursary covers registration, tuition fees, official residence accommodation, a laptop, textbooks, and meals for the duration of the selected degree program.

Available in disciplines such as Geology, Mining Geology, Mineral Processing and Ore Beneficiation, Environmental and Resource Studies, and Geography, the bursary aims to support talented South African students in contributing to the mining sector and national transformation. Applications must be submitted by email to [email protected] by the closing date of 21 November 2025.

ARM is offering bursaries to current University of Limpopo students who have completed their first, second, or third year.

The bursary will cover the following:

  • Meals

Bursaries are offered in the following disciplines:

  • Bachelor of Science in Geology
  • Bachelor of Science Honours in Geology
  • Bachelor of Science Honours in Mining Geology
  • Bachelor of Science Honours in Mineral Processing and Ore Beneficiation
  • Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Resource Studies
  • Bachelor of Science Honours in Geography
  • Bachelor of Science Honours in Environmental Studies

Note: In the event that you do not hear from the Company within 21 days after the closing date, your application shall be deemed unsuccessful.

What applicants must submit:

  • Valid & Certified South African ID
  • Certified Copy of the Grade 12 certificate
  • Academic records from the University
  • University acceptance letter

Terms and conditions:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Potential candidates may be required to undergo a panel interview and psychometric assessments for selection purposes
  • Applicants already receiving a bursary will not be considered
  • ARM will not be responsible for any fees incurred prior to the bursary been granted
  • ARM will only consider costs associated with the granted bursary
  • Academic performance will be taken into consideration
