FSCA: Internship Programme 2025/2026

The Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) is excited to invite young graduates to join its Internship Programme for 2025/26. This program aims to equip them with crucial knowledge, skills, and exposure to market conduct regulation and supervision. This structured one-year internship offers successful candidates the opportunity to learn under the mentorship of dedicated professionals, develop competency-based skills, and contribute to the protection of financial customers, the promotion of fair treatment by financial institutions, and the maintenance of financial stability.
To be eligible, applicants must be South African citizens with no previous work experience and must hold relevant qualifications in areas such as Economics, Law, Social Science, or Information Technology, among others.

Duration: One-year internship, non-renewable contract
Location: Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa

The Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) seeks to equip young graduates with knowledge, skills, and exposure to market conduct regulation and supervision, as well as its role in the economy. This internship is a structured programme specifically designed to produce a pipeline of competent new entrants in the labour market and to assist the FSCA in delivering on its mandate to:
- transform the integrity of financial markets;
- protect financial customers by promoting fair treatment by financial institutions; and
- provide financial customers with financial education and maintain financial stability.
Roll out plan of the programme
Recommended candidates will be given an opportunity to learn under the supervision of a dedicated mentor. Interns are assigned to a division, based on their qualifications and career aspirations, and exposed to various competency-based training during the one-year internship programme.

- Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Events Management/Public Relations
- Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Multi-media design; Graphic Design, Digital Media
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Science
- Bachelor’s degree in Education
- BCom Economics/Accounting/Supply Chain Management
- National Diploma in Logistics
- BSC in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Information Technology
- Bachelor’s degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE)
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
- Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Office Administration/Public Administration/Business Administration
- Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Risk Management/Legal/Corporate Governance Administration
