Chris Hani District Municipality invites applications from unemployed graduates residing within its area of jurisdiction for the Rural Roads Asset Management Systems (RRAMS) Internship Programme. This initiative aims to provide graduates with practical experience, enabling them to contextualize learning in the world of work, establish job preparedness, and connect to available opportunities while supporting the implementation of the RRAMS Programme.

Programme Details
- Position: Internship Programme
- Number of Positions: Five (5) Graduates
- Duration: Two (2) Years
- Stipend: R8,000.00 per month
- Location: Head Office, Komani
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- National Diploma in Civil Engineering or a relevant qualification majoring in Transportation
- Proof of completed qualification (certified copies of qualifications and academic records for verification of major subjects where necessary)
- Computer Literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Age between 18 and 35 years
- Understanding of GIS applications
- Knowledge of transport systems, roads, and road network classification
- Ability to assist in the implementation of the RRAMS project, including coordination, planning, and administration of engineering activities in the district
- Residency within the Chris Hani District Municipality (original proof of residence stamped and signed by the respective Ward Councillor)
- Applicants who have previously participated in an internship programme from any government department or institution will not be considered

- Proof of residence from a Ward Councillor or traditional leader (original, stamped, and signed)
Note:
- Failure to submit all required documents will result in disqualification.

- Candidates must be available for assessment on a date and time determined by the Municipality.
- Canvassing any panelists will lead to automatic disqualification.
- Due to the expected high volume of applications, receipt of applications will not be acknowledged. If not contacted within 30 days after the closing date, consider the application unsuccessful.
