- National Senior Certificate or Equivalent: A completed National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification with a pass in the following subjects:
- Technical Mathematics or Mathematics
- English or Business English
- Technical Science or Physical Science
- Driver’s License: A valid Code B or higher driver’s license.
- Physical and Psychological Assessments:
- Ability to pass a stress and fear assessment, which evaluates the candidate’s ability to handle high-pressure situations, including working at heights, in confined spaces, and with exposure to fire.
- Successful completion of a Fire Fighter Fitness Assessment to demonstrate the physical capability required for the role.
