Position Overview

The Learnership Programme focuses on gathering information (telephonically or via email) for accurate assessment of Value Added Product Claims.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Customer Service:
  • Deliver exceptional service and customer experience for queries related to claims and policy benefits.
  • Manage telephonic queries professionally and efficiently.
  • Embed the principles of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) in all interactions.
  • Claims Processing:
  • Capture claims accurately and confirm the validity of claim information.
  • Verify policy status and premium payments to facilitate claim processing.
  • Obtain and attach required supporting documentation to the claims administration system.
  • Process refunds to clients, dealers, or finance houses when necessary.
  • Process payments to clients and suppliers as required.
  • Query Management:
  • Handle queries from policyholders, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Resolve queries requiring intervention or correction in a timely manner.
  • System Updates:
  • Document all interactions and developments on the claims administration system.
  • Update policy information when changes occur.
  • Correspondence:
  • Communicate claims outcomes and requirements for future claims to clients.
Qualifications
  • Matric (required).
  • Computer literacy (essential).
Knowledge and Skills
  • General administrative experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
