As a learner, you will be cross-trained to operate both on the sales floor and at the service desk. What You Will Do
Throughout the learnership, you will:
- Work a minimum of 120 hours gaining real-world experience.
- Learn and deepen your knowledge of retail operations.
- Prepare for and complete assessments to demonstrate your competencies.
- Assist customers in locating merchandise and making purchasing decisions.
- Merchandise the store according to specific retail principles, ensuring it looks inviting and organized.
- Process payments and purchases using the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently.
- Open new customer accounts and manage account-related transactions.
- Maintain stock levels and help control stock losses.
- Build lasting relationships with customers by providing outstanding service.
- Ensure the security and safety of customers within the retail environment.
