
Amcor Astrapak offers exciting opportunities for ambitious and driven youth to gain valuable industry experience through their Apprenticeship and Internship Programmes. These programs are designed to provide hands-on learning, skill development, and real-world exposure to the packaging industry.

- Apprenticeship and Internship Programmes
- Apprenticeship Programme:
The 3-year Apprenticeship programme will provide successful candidates with hands-on work experience in the maintenance department, along with technical theory classes (TT blocks) at selected Technical Colleges to enhance their knowledge and skills. The programme will culminate in a Trade Test, and successful candidates should qualify as an Artisan at the end.
- Available Programme: Millwright
- Location: Plastop KZN in Prospecton
- Requirements:
- Matric or equivalent with Mathematics Core and Physical Science
- Minimum of N2 in the above Engineering studies
- Internship Programme:
The 18-month Internship programme offers additional training and workplace experience, allowing candidates to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Available Programme: SHEQ
- Location: Consupaq, Durban North
- Requirements:
- Matric or equivalent
- Diploma in the following fields:
- Diploma in Safety Management or SAMTRAC obtained
- Must have completed their studies and require work experience to obtain their Diploma
Upon completing the programmes, successful candidates will gain work experience and obtain Certification/Trade in their respective fields.
