Arnot OpCo (Pty) Ltd, a mining company, invites unemployed graduates to apply for internship opportunities. These opportunities are aimed at those with a relevant degree or diploma but no relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 24-month Fixed Term Contract with Arnot OpCo.

Fields of Study

The internship opportunities are available in the following disciplines:

  • Mechanical
  • Geology
  • Metallurgy
  • Health and Safety
  • Occupational Hygiene
Selection and Qualifying Criteria
  • Must be a South African citizen and currently unemployed.
  • Must be in possession of a Degree, Advanced Diploma, N6 Diploma, or BTech Degree.
  • Must be between 18–35 years old with no criminal record.
  • Must have an excellent academic record.
  • Only graduates and diplomats with a full tertiary qualification obtained from an accredited South African university or college will be allowed to apply.
  • Students applying for an internship must have completed their qualification in the field for which they apply and must not have benefitted from a similar programme previously.
  • Should an applicant be successful, they will be expected to complete a full medical examination and security screening.
Requirements
  • Certified copy of a valid South African Identity Document (SA citizen).
  • Certified copy of qualifications relating to the field applied for.
  • Brief Curriculum Vitae.
  • All CVs from host communities must strictly come with proof of residence with the stamp from the relevant tribal office or municipality.
