Job Purpose
We are looking for a motivated Admin Learnership candidate to join our dynamic team, supporting Bridgestone’s mission to deliver innovative mobility solutions. The role involves ensuring compliance with company and client policies, accurately managing financial documents, and providing exceptional administrative support. Responsibilities include handling communications, operating office equipment, maintaining supplies, processing timesheets, managing petty cash, and coordinating travel arrangements. The candidate will also contribute to a safe and efficient work environment, with opportunities to take on additional tasks to support site operations and grow professionally.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to company and client policies, procedures, and instructions to maintain operational excellence.
- Accurately complete, file, and manage financial transactional documents to support business operations.
- Deliver outstanding client service through clear, professional communication and efficient message handling.
- Operate and maintain office equipment (e.g., fax, photocopier, shredder) to ensure functionality.
- Oversee office maintenance, including coordinating repairs, managing supplies, and arranging cleaning services.
- Provide comprehensive secretarial support, including typing, filing, photocopying, and accurate data entry.
- Process timesheets, manage petty cash, and perform banking reconciliations with precision.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and bookings for site personnel, ensuring seamless logistics.
- Uphold Occupational Health and Safety standards, report hazards, and use PPE correctly to maintain a safe workplace.
- Actively participate in safety meetings, promptly report incidents, and comply with emergency procedures.
- Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks to support team efficiency and site operations.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Education: Grade 12 National Senior Certificate.
- Certification: Valid South African Code 08 light vehicle driver’s license.
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and client interaction.
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email, data entry) with a willingness to learn new systems.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
