The University of Johannesburg’s Arts & Culture division, in partnership with CATHSSETA, is thrilled to offer internship opportunities for recent graduates passionate about South Africa’s vibrant arts and culture sector. These 12-month internships, starting in December 2025, provide hands-on experience, professional mentorship, and a chance to make a lasting impact.

Position: UJ Arts & Culture Internship Programme (2025–2026)

Duration: 12 months contract

Closing Date: 26 August 2025

Available Positions
  • Copywriting (4 positions): Craft compelling content for marketing, social media, and events, sharpening your storytelling skills.
  • Multimedia (10 positions): Create engaging video, graphic design, and digital content to showcase UJ Arts & Culture’s initiatives.
  • Hospitality (1 position): Support the execution of cultural events, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
  • Performing Arts Administration (2 positions): Manage productions and support artists, gaining insight into the operational side of the performing arts.
