Stipend: R7 700.00 per month
Duration: 6 months contract

Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and motivated P1 / P2 interns to join our laboratory team. This internship provides hands-on experience in a professional laboratory setting, supporting analytical testing, quality control, and research activities. The ideal candidate will gain exposure to various laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and industry standards while working in the ISO structure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine laboratory tests and analyses following standard operating procedures.
- Assist in sample preparation, data collection, and reporting.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment under supervision.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations as per ISO 9001:2015
- Support senior laboratory personnel with research and project work.
Minimum Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a qualification in:
o Analytical Chemistry
o Chemical Engineering
o Metallurgy
o Chemical Engineering/Process Engineering
o Metallurgy - Valid Driver’s License (Mandatory).
- Must be done with S4 theoretical modules
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and report-writing skills.
- English proficiency (Mandatory)
