QA Monitor Internship  Hammarsdale

Are you an enthusiastic and motivated student, ready to tackle the working world?

Rainbow is looking for Quality Assurance students who require 12 months practical experience in order to obtain their qualification.

Purpose of the Role:

To ensure adherence to Rainbow’s Total Integrated Management System

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitors online quality by observation of on line practices and completion of necessary check sheets
  • Conducts observations and tests on poultry products to ensure that specifications are met in terms of pick ups, operator working instructions’ parameters, machine setting parameters
  • Reports deviations and advises of the necessary corrective actions to Processing and Engineering when required
  • Follow ups on the implementation of corrective actions and escalates to higher authority if not actioned.
  • Observes that employees on the line adhere to ISO, GMP and HACCP practices and advises on necessary corrective action required when contravened
  • Monitors and ensures adherence to contractual customer specific, regulatory and internal requirements as per specifications
  • Practices good housekeeping in their areas of work
  • Prepares graphs and reports on quality measurements in area of responsibility for management to scrutinize and analyze,, and for record keeping and audit purposes
