ROAD ASSET MANAGEMENT INTERNS X2 – 2 YEARS FIXED TERM CONTRACT
Remuneration: R174 000 per annum

Minimum Requirements:

  • B Eng Tech/ Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering
  • Code B Drivers Licence
  • Computer Literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good Presentation Skills
  • Basic Knowledge of GIS, Ally cad, AutoCAD and Civil Designer will be an added advantage

Key Performance Areas:

  • Setting up GIS software on electronic devices.
  • Update of geospatial data using GIS software systems.
  • Cleaning network data and aligning road centreline.
  • Detail visual assessment of road pavements.
  • Classification of road network.
  • Roads, traffic, Structures and Ancillary data management.
  • Assisting in implementation of the PRAMS project.
  • Coordination, planning and administration of the engineering activities in the District.
  • Participation in the road to registration programmes.

Electrical Technician, Electrical Technologist or Electrical Engineer Intern
(ISDG) 3 years fixed term contract
Remuneration: National Diploma: R216 000 – R240 000 Per annum
BTech Degree: R229 000 – R288 000 Per annum

Requirements:

  • National Diploma / Btech / Bsc / B Eng in Electrical Engineering
  • Registration with ECSA as a candidate will be an added advantage
  • Candidate must be registered with ECSA as a candidate within 3 months of appointment.
  • Code B Drivers Licence –will be added an advantage
  • Computer Literacy (MS Word, Excel and Power Point)
  • Good Presentation skills
  • Be prepared to sign a 3-year contract with the Municipality

Key Performance Areas:

  • Design and drafting of Electrical systems and service
  • Development of Project Specifications for electrical installations
  • Project Cost Estimates
  • Preparation of Tender documentation
  • Contract and Project Management
  • Site inspections
  • Review of strategic Planning Management documents
  • Conduct Laboratory testing and procedures
  • Business Plan preparations
  • Prepare Technical Reports
  • Compile POEs and be eligible to register as a Professional in 3 years
