𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲
- Complete practical and theoretical requirements.
- Study and understand the relevant learning outcomes and learning fields.
- Complete studies/courses at formal learning institutions.
- Gain practical experience in a manufacturing plant during the study period.
- Complete general Induction/Maintenance Theory & Practice, Dairy Technology, Productivity and Economy subjects.
- Complete practical training curriculum and Millwright Trade Test at the designated Training Centre.
- You will be placed at a manufacturing plant to gain work experience while completing the learning programme.
- You will gain invaluable experience and be paid a monthly stipend.
𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐅𝐢𝐭
- Grade 12 National Senior Certificate / NQF Level 4 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering subjects
- Must have 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟔𝟎% 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞
- Achieved 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝟔𝟎% 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 (not maths literacy)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Reliable and willing to continuously learn new technologies
- Practical experience in a production or maintenance department will be an added advantage
