Monthly salary: R8000.00 per month (for a period of 3 months).

Stellenbosch Municipality invites young graduates that reside within the Stellenbosch Municipal Area (WCO24) to apply for the Municipal Graduate Internship Programme – Electrical Services.
The successful intern will obtain a 3-month contract with Stellenbosch Municipality in order to gain the practical experience required to operate make a positive contribution to career pathing.
The successful incumbent will report to the Manager: Planning, Design, Construction & Services within the Directorate: Infrastructure Services.
Minimum requirements: Please add minimum requirements
- National Diploma, B Tech or BEng Degree in Built Environment, Engineering, Natural Sciences or Economic Sciences fields (Postgraduate Degree, registered on the NQF at level 6 or 7
- Excellent oral and written (specifically report writing skills) skills in at least two of the three Western Cape official languages (English, Afrikaans, Xhosa).
- Good interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy
- Willingness for continuous career growth and learning

Assisting with the project management of this program. The required scope of work will include assistance with the management of the construction contract and technical and financial reporting on the progress with the work. Scope of Work includes assisting with the EEDSM Program: Replacement of high-pressure sodium (HPS) streetlight light fittings with LED type, building light fitting replacement and Photo Voltaic (PV) installation at water treatment works.

Duties: ● Assist the implementation of the EEDMS Projects with performing duties related to the relevant functional area in Electrical Services.
