Our client, Development Hub, a growing digital firm based in Hyde Park, Johannesburg (Sandton), is seeking for a creative and driven Marketing Intern to join their team. The candidate will support the marketing team in driving awareness, engagement, and conversions through various digital platforms and content creation.
Requirements
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Prior internship or project experience in digital marketing, content creation, or social media management, is a plus but not mandatory.
- Foundational understanding of digital marketing concepts, such as SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook) and an understanding of best practices for audience engagement.
- A strong desire to learn about digital marketing strategies, content creation, and SaaS marketing.
- Familiarity with basic marketing tools, such as content management systems (CMS).
- Strong written communication skills with an ability to create clear and engaging content for various platforms
Duties
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies.
- Research market trends, competitors, and customer insights to inform marketing initiatives.
- Support the management of digital platforms such as the company website, social media profiles, and content hubs.
- Help implement strategies to improve user engagement and increase traffic to our platform profiles.
- Assist in managing social media accounts (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.).
- Help monitor social media trends and industry discussions to keep the company engaged with the latest developments.
- Work closely with the marketing, sales and product teams to ensure marketing activities align with business goals and customer needs.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions, contributing creative ideas and learning from experienced professionals.
