2025 Internship & Off-Crop Intake – Ubombo Sugar Limited

2025 Internship Intake:
Calling upon all university/college students to apply for internship opportunities in the following fields:

  • Human Resources: Social Science, Business Management, Organisational Psychology
  • Medical Services: Nursing, Psychology, Laboratory Technician, Pharmacist
  • Corporate Affairs: Public Relations, Marketing, Mass Communication
  • Information Technology: Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security
  • Business Improvement: Data Science, Finance, Engineering

The Requirements:

  • Applicants must be enrolled with an accredited tertiary institution
  • Written proof of internship requirement by the tertiary institution
  • Latest academic transcript
  • Detailed curriculum vitae (CV)

Off-Crop 2025/26 Intake:
The Job:
We are seeking qualified candidates for the Off-Crop 2025/26 from January to March 2026 in the following trades:

  • Artisan Fitter
  • Artisan Boilermaker
  • Artisan Electrician
  • Artisan Rigger
  • Welders
  • Sub-Journeyman Electrician
  • Riggers
  • Instruments Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of Factory equipment during the Off-Crop Season
  • Adherence to Company procedures, policies, and guidelines, including SHERQ, Competition Law, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC)

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate in the Trade
  • Trade/Grade Test Certificate (where applicable)
  • Completed apprenticeship with at least two years post-apprenticeship experience (where applicable)
  • Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
  • Should be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
  • Great health and physical fitness

The Rewards:
